  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have type 1 diabetes (even if you have had an organ transplant like a liver or kidney).
  • Your stimulated C-peptide level is less than 0.3 ng/mL (a test that shows how much insulin your body still makes).
  • You have had at least one severe low blood sugar event in the past 12 months.
