Who can take part

  • You must be a boy between the ages of 5 and 18.
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), including genetic testing.
  • You must not have other medical conditions that affect thinking, such as diabetes, thyroid issues, or a history of head injury.
  • You must not be on a breathing machine (ventilator) that prevents you from speaking or answering questions.
  • You must be able to see, hear, and speak well enough to answer questions (without severe hearing loss, blindness, or speech delay).
  • You and your family must agree to take part in the study.
