Who can take part

  • You are 19 years or older.
  • You are scheduled for elective liver surgery (hepatectomy) under general anesthesia.
  • You are healthy or have mild systemic disease (ASA class 1-3).
  • You do not smoke and have normal lung function.
  • You need both an artery line and extra vein access for standard anesthesia prep.
  • You have agreed to join the study and signed a consent form.
