- You are 18 years or older
- You are scheduled for elective non-cardiac surgery
- You are considered at higher risk for anesthesia complications (ASA physical status 2 or higher)
- You do not have a planned arterial line or current pregnancy
- Blood pressure measurements between your right and left arms are within about 20 mmHg
