Who can take part
- You have triple-negative breast cancer (or hormone-receptor low breast cancer not helped by hormone therapy) that cannot be surgically removed or has spread.
- You have not received any chemotherapy for advanced or metastatic breast cancer yet.
- You are physically active enough to be up and moving (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- You have 1 to 5 tumors that can be treated with radiation, each between 0.5 cm and 5 cm in size, and at least one tumor outside the radiation field that can be measured.
- Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function are within safe ranges as checked by your doctor.
- If you have brain metastases, they are either not needing treatment right now or can be treated with the radiation used in this study.
