Who can take part
- You have head and neck cancer that either cannot be removed surgically (Cohort A) or can be removed (Cohort C) but you're planning surgery for it.
- For Cohort A: You've already tried platinum chemo, 5-FU, taxane, cetuximab, or gemcitabine, AND a PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor (like Keytruda or Opdivo), and your cancer kept growing.
- You have at least one tumor that is at least 1 cm wide and can be injected safely with a needle (not near major blood vessels or organs).
- You are able to carry out your daily activities with little to no help (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- Your blood counts and liver function are within acceptable limits (e.g., adequate white cells, red cells, platelets, and liver enzymes).
