Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have a type of atrial fibrillation that lasts more than a week (persistent AFib).
- You have tried at least one heart rhythm medicine and it didn't work or you couldn't take it.
- You do not have any major heart valve problem that needs surgery.
- You do not have a blood clot in your heart's upper left chamber.
- You have not had a recent heart attack or severe heart failure (ejection fraction 30% or less), and you don't have a serious infection right now.
