Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had type 1 diabetes for at least 6 months.
  • Your diabetes is poorly controlled with insulin shots or a regular pump, causing frequent severe high or low blood sugar episodes.
  • You have a caregiver or support person who can help you in an emergency.
  • You are willing and able to use a continuous glucose monitor and make pump adjustments as needed.
  • You are not pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, and you use birth control if needed.
