Can a computer accurately measure lung scarring on CT scans?

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older
  • You have a type of lung scarring called interstitial lung disease, either from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis or a connective tissue disease (like scleroderma or lupus)
  • You are being seen at one of the participating hospitals in France
  • You need a chest CT scan as part of your regular follow-up
  • You are covered by French national health insurance
  • You are able to hold your breath for 10 seconds and are not pregnant or having a lung flare-up
