Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are scheduled for lung surgery using a camera through small incisions (thoracoscopy).
  • You will use a pain pump you control after surgery (patient-controlled IV analgesia).
  • You have not had lung surgery through a large cut or a camera in the past.
  • You are not currently using coenzyme Q10 regularly (for more than one month).
  • You have no history of chronic pain, substance abuse, or allergy to coenzyme Q10.
