  • You are scheduled to receive radiation (with or without chemotherapy) for head and neck cancer.
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You can manage your own daily activities (like dressing and bathing) without help.
  • You are not planning to have surgery as part of your cancer treatment.
  • You do not have a nerve or muscle condition like stroke or Parkinson's disease.
  • You do not have serious heart or lung problems that limit your activities.
