Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have advanced or metastatic bile duct cancer (including gallbladder cancer) that cannot be removed by surgery.
- You have not had any prior treatment for your bile duct cancer.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
- You are in relatively good health (able to do light activity, like walking or light housework).
- Your liver, kidney, and blood cell counts are within acceptable ranges.
- You are willing to use effective birth control if you or your partner could become pregnant.
