Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer (a type of throat cancer).
  • You are scheduled to receive radiation therapy as part of your treatment.
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You are able to have an MRI scan (no metal implants, no severe claustrophobia).
  • You agree to sign a consent form.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you do not have severe kidney or liver problems.
