Who can take part

  • You have a stage cT1 kidney tumor confirmed by CT or MRI
  • You are scheduled for partial nephrectomy surgery
  • Your tumor is localized and has not spread to lymph nodes or other organs
  • You have a good performance status (ECOG score 0 or 1)
  • Your life expectancy is more than 10 years
  • Your kidney function is normal (eGFR of 90 or higher)
