Who can take part
- You are between 45 and 80 years old.
- You have at least three signs of knee osteoarthritis, like age over 50, morning stiffness less than 30 minutes, a cracking knee, tender bone, bony swelling, or no warmth to the touch.
- Your knee X-ray shows moderate arthritis (grade 2 or 3).
- You are willing to receive prolotherapy (dextrose injections into or around the knee).
- You have not had knee surgery, are not planning knee replacement, and have not had a knee injection in the last 3 months. You are not taking blood thinners and do not have a BMI over 35.
