Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis (wear-and-tear arthritis) that is moderate to severe.
  • You have had steady knee pain for at least the last 6 months.
  • You have not had any knee surgery recently.
  • You do not have an inflammatory joint disease like rheumatoid arthritis.
  • You do not have an active infection, uncontrolled diabetes, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
