Who can take part
- You have long-lasting back pain (documented in your medical records).
- Your pain is at least a 4 out of 10 in severity or how much it interferes with your daily life.
- You have a serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, or major depression with psychosis.
- You are 18 or older and are getting outpatient care at a VA facility in the VISN 5 region.
- You have a phone and can agree to take part in the study.
