Who can take part

  • You are between 30 and 50 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25 and 30 (overweight but not obese).
  • You have had low back pain that shoots down the back of your thigh, calf, and foot for more than a few weeks (chronic).
  • You have pain in your buttock, with or without sciatica-like symptoms.
  • Your doctor confirmed piriformis syndrome using specific physical tests (Faber, Fair, Beatty).
