Who can take part
- You are of South Asian ancestry (such as Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Nepali, or Bhutanese).
- You are a man 30 to 60 years old, or a woman over 50 but not yet 60.
- You have at least one of these risk factors: high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, a family history of early heart disease, or you smoke (or quit within the last 3 months).
- You have never had a heart attack, bypass surgery, a stent, or a CT scan of your heart arteries in the last 4 years.
- You are not pregnant, are not allergic to iodine contrast dye, and do not have active cancer or severe kidney disease.
