Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a heart attack (AMI).
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are having an emergency stent procedure (PCI) and have agreed to it.
  • Your medical records are complete and accurate.
  • This is your first time being treated for a heart attack.
  • You are willing to take standard blood-thinning medications after the stent and be followed for 12 months.
