Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You must have advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma that has not responded to or you cannot tolerate standard first-line therapy.
  • You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • You must be in fairly good health, with an ECOG performance status of 0 or 1 (able to carry out daily activities).
  • You need to have recovered from side effects of previous treatments before starting the study drug.
