Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
- You must have head and neck squamous cell carcinoma that has come back or spread, and that is not in the nasopharynx.
- You must have at least one measurable tumor on a scan.
- You must be in fairly good general health (ECOG 0 or 1) and have adequate organ function.
- You must not have had prior treatment with a drug targeting topoisomerase I or have had radiation to the chest/neck within 3 months.
