Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and can agree to join the study.
- You are scheduled for a planned major liver surgery (removing at least 3 liver segments) using keyhole or robot-assisted techniques.
- You do not have a serious heart or lung condition (like heart failure worse than class II, a hole in the heart, or severe COPD).
- You are not taking blood thinners (other than aspirin 100 mg daily) and do not have a condition that raises bleeding risk.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
