Who can take part
- Your shortsightedness (myopia) must be between -1.00 and -6.00 diopters in both eyes.
- With glasses or contacts, your vision in both eyes can be corrected to nearly perfect (20/25 or better).
- You must not have a medical condition or syndrome that causes your shortsightedness.
- You must not have had any previous treatment to slow down or change your shortsightedness (like atropine drops or special contacts).
