- You have a problem with the long biceps tendon or a SLAP tear in your shoulder.
- You do NOT have a full tear of the rotator cuff tendons (the muscle group that helps move your shoulder).
- You do NOT have arthritis in the shoulder joint.
- You have not had surgery on this shoulder before.
- You do not have shoulder paralysis or a visible 'Popeye' muscle deformity.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and can answer questions in English or French.
