  • You are 65 years or older
  • You have a hip fracture that requires surgery
  • You are able to give your own consent to participate
  • You are expected to live at least 6 months after surgery and have no terminal illness
  • You do not have severe kidney or liver problems
  • You can take oral supplements (no severe stomach or intestine issues) and are not allergic to the supplement ingredients
