This trial tests whether a new drug called tarlatamab is safe and effective for people with certain types of brain tumors that have an IDH mutation. You may be eligible if you have had up to 2 prior treatments after the tumor returned, and you are either having surgery to remove the tumor or the tumor cannot be removed.

Who can take part

  • You have a brain tumor called a diffuse astrocytic or oligodendroglial tumor with an IDH mutation.
  • You are 18 years or older and weigh more than 40 kg (about 88 lbs).
  • You have had no more than 2 treatments since the tumor returned.
  • You are well enough to carry out daily activities (ECOG score 0 or 1) and have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks.
  • You must agree to use two effective methods of birth control if you are able to become pregnant.
  • You are willing to provide tumor samples (if having surgery) and stay near the hospital for 48–72 hours after the first two doses.
