Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 65 years old
- Have kidney stones larger than 2 centimeters and be scheduled for PCNL surgery (a procedure to remove kidney stones)
- Have pain less than 7 on a 0-to-10 scale two hours before surgery
- Be able to receive standard pain medication
- Have no ear deformities, ear infections, or skin wounds on the ears
- Have no heart rhythm problems, pacemakers, or unstable health that requires intensive care
