  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are willing and able to give consent for the study.
  • You are scheduled for a planned (not emergency) heart surgery at the Robert Bosch Krankenhaus hospital.
  • You have not received any acupuncture or ear acupressure treatment in the last 3 months.
