Who can take part
- You are a woman and a current or former professional soccer player in France, or you are a woman who played professional tennis and have no history of head impacts from sports.
- You are at least 18 years old and near the end of your playing career (soccer players must be 32 or older).
- You have never had a moderate or severe head injury, brain injury, or concussion with loss of consciousness or confusion.
- You do not have any known brain abnormality, neurological disorder, or serious medical condition like uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, or heart disease.
- You do not use drugs or smoke, and you drink little to no alcohol (less than about 2 drinks per day).
- You are not taking any medications that affect the brain or nervous system in the last 2 weeks, and you have no metal implants or claustrophobia that would prevent an MRI scan.
