PET/CT vs CT for initial lung cancer staging

Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (a common type of lung cancer).
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must not have started any treatment for this lung cancer yet.
  • Your blood sugar level must be less than 200 mg/dL (which usually means diabetes needs to be well controlled).
  • You must not have any other active cancer besides this lung cancer.
