Coronary microvascular testing after heart attack

ST Elevation Myocardial InfarctionCoronary Microvascular DysfunctionMicrovascular Obstruction

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study tests a way to measure tiny blood vessels in the heart after a major heart attack (STEMI) using a special catheter with salt water. The goal is to see if this test helps doctors understand how well your heart is healing.

Testing heart vessel dysfunction after a heart attack

This trial looks at how to assess small blood-vessel (microvascular) problems in people who had a heart attack but whose main heart arteries are not blocked. It may help doctors better find what’s driving symptoms and choose the right tests and treatments.

Studying non-blocked arteries after a heart attack

This study looks at arteries in the heart that aren't the one that caused the heart attack. It uses a special CT scan to understand these arteries better in people who have already had a procedure to open the blocked artery.

Treating microvessel injury after heart attack

This trial tests treatments for small blood vessel damage after a major heart attack (STEMI). If you have had a heart attack and are receiving a stent, this study may help improve recovery by targeting microvascular injury.

Tests tiny heart blood-flow changes after type 2 heart attacks

This study looks at how well the smallest heart blood vessels work after a type 2 myocardial infarction (a heart injury related to oxygen supply/demand problems, not a blocked artery). It may help researchers better understand what causes symptoms and guide future treatments.
