Spinal stimulation for depression: a clinical trial

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder for at least 4 weeks and no more than 2 years.
  • You are currently taking an FDA-approved antidepressant at a stable dose for at least 8 weeks.
  • You have a body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 35.99.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and use effective birth control if needed.
  • You have not tried more than two depression treatments (medication or brain stimulation) that failed during this episode.
