Brain Stimulation to Improve Sleep and Mood in Depression

Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with major depression disorder (confirmed by a clinician)
  • Moderate to severe depression symptoms (MADRS-S score of 18 or higher)
  • Able to read and understand English at a basic level
  • Have a local doctor or counselor who oversees your care, or access to local mental health resources
  • Access to a quiet, private space at home for 20–30 minute stimulation sessions
  • Not currently pregnant, and willing to use birth control if you can become pregnant
