Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older with a kidney biopsy that shows IgA nephropathy.
- Your kidney function (eGFR) must be 30 or higher.
- You must have protein in your urine (a sign of kidney damage) at a certain level.
- You must be on a stable dose of blood pressure medication (ACE inhibitor or ARB) for at least 3 months, unless you can't take them.
- You need to get vaccines for meningitis and pneumonia at least 2 weeks before starting the study drug.
- You cannot have other serious kidney conditions or have had an organ transplant.
