Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have chronic or persistent ITP that has not responded to steroids or other standard treatments.
  • Your platelet count is less than 30 x 10^9/L within the 2 days before starting the study drug.
  • You are stable on any current ITP medications (like steroids or TPO agonists) for at least 4 weeks before starting.
  • You have not had a blood clot or major bleeding event in the past year, and do not have other serious medical conditions that would make the study unsafe.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
