Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for more than 1 year.
  • Your HbA1c (average blood sugar) is less than 12.5%.
  • You are at least 7 years old.
  • You take daily insulin injections (basal-bolus therapy) and use more than 8 units of insulin each day.
  • You have had no episodes of diabetic ketoacidosis (very high blood sugar with acidosis) in the past 6 months.
