Who can take part

  • You are a first-time mother over 20 years old and your partner is also joining the study.
  • Your pregnancy is between 37 and 40 weeks (full-term).
  • You are carrying one baby who is head-down (cephalic presentation).
  • You plan to have a vaginal birth (not a scheduled C-section).
  • You and your partner can speak, read, and write Chinese.
