- You are 18 years or older
- You have a normal nerve test (EMG/ENG) showing no nerve or muscle problems
- You do not have diabetes, hepatitis, or kidney failure
- You have never had cancer or chemotherapy
- You have never had a major injury or surgery on the arm being tested
- No one in your close family has a nerve or muscle disease
