Who can take part

  • You are missing 1 to 4 teeth and need dental implants.
  • The tooth site has healed for at least 3 months after extraction.
  • If you had bone or gum grafting, you've waited the required healing time (6 months for bone, 2 months for gum).
  • You are 21 years or older and able to sign a consent form.
  • You are not a heavy smoker (10 or fewer cigarettes per day).
  • You are not taking medications that affect bone healing, like bisphosphonates or certain steroids.
