Who can take part
- You had a stent placed in a heart artery (PCI) for a heart attack or stable chest pain.
- You are currently taking low-dose aspirin plus either prasugrel or ticagrelor.
- If you had a heart attack, at least 90 days have passed since the stent procedure. If you had stable chest pain, at least 30 days have passed.
- You are not taking another blood thinner like warfarin, dabigatran, rivaroxaban, apixaban, or edoxaban.
- You have never had a blood clot form inside a stent, and you have not had a stroke or mini-stroke in the past.
- You are at least 18 years old and not pregnant or breastfeeding.
