  • You are scheduled for gallbladder removal surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 35.
  • You are in good health or have mild to moderate health conditions (ASA class 1, 2, or 3).
  • You have no lung disease, and have not had chest surgery before.
  • You are not pregnant.
