Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are scheduled for a total laparoscopic hysterectomy (uterus removal through small incisions)
  • You have sleep apnea or are at high risk for it (STOP-BANG score of 3 or more)
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is over 28 (classified as overweight or obese)
  • You are generally healthy enough for surgery (ASA class I to III)
