Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had low back pain every day for at least 6 months.
  • Your average pain in the last week was at least 3 on a 0–10 scale.
  • You do not have any skin issues or nerve problems in your ears.
  • You have not started a new pain or mood medication in the past month.
  • You have no history of drug abuse or recent illicit drug use.
