Blood flow after carotid surgery study

Carotid Endarterectomy

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study looks at blood flow in the carotid artery after surgery to remove plaque buildup. It may help doctors understand how well the artery heals after different surgical techniques.

Blood flow and brain function monitoring after carotid procedure

This trial studies how blood flow and brain function change after a carotid artery revascularization procedure (opening a narrowed carotid artery). It may help doctors understand what to expect after treatment, especially in people with significant artery narrowing.

Track outcomes after carotid stent or surgery

This study follows people who need a procedure to treat narrowed carotid arteries, comparing results after either surgery (CEA) or a less invasive procedure (TCAR). It mainly looks at patient safety and outcomes, which can help improve future care.

Predicting blood flow changes after carotid stenting

This study looks at why some people have too much blood flow to the brain after a procedure to open a blocked neck artery. It uses special tests to check how well your brain controls its own blood flow, with the goal of predicting and preventing problems.
