Who can take part

  • You must be at least 19 years old.
  • You must have liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery and has spread into major blood vessels (like the portal vein or hepatic vein).
  • You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • Your liver function must be well-preserved (Child-Pugh class A).
  • You must be able to take care of yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You cannot have had more than one prior treatment with drugs that work throughout the body, and you cannot have had radiation to the liver before.
