Who can take part
- You must be 18 to 65 years old
- If you are healthy: weigh at least 50 kg (men) or 45 kg (women) with a BMI between 18 and 32
- If you have type 2 diabetes: BMI between 25 and 40, and you must have been on a stable dose of certain diabetes pills (DPP-4 inhibitor, with or without metformin) for at least 3 months
- You cannot have taken any medications, vitamins, or supplements in the past 2 weeks
- You cannot have certain health issues like heart, liver, or kidney problems, history of low blood sugar, or allergies
