  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have had type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 35.
  • You do not have type 1 diabetes or other forms of diabetes.
  • You have not had a severe low blood sugar episode in the last 3 months.
  • You have no active cancer (except certain minor skin or cervical cancers).
