Who can take part

  • You are pregnant with identical twins who share a placenta (monochorionic-diamniotic twins).
  • You have been diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.
  • You are between 16 weeks and 26 weeks pregnant.
  • You have chosen to have laser surgery (fetoscopic photocoagulation) to treat the TTTS.
  • Your cervix length is at least 1.5 cm (not short).
  • You do not have a blood clot behind the placenta (subchorionic hemorrhage).
