Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 45 years old
  • You are pregnant with twins that share one placenta (called monochorionic twins)
  • Your pregnancy is between 18 and 26 weeks
  • You plan to deliver at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital or Carilion New River Valley Medical Center
  • Your twins do not have any known genetic problems or infections
  • You can read and speak English
